12 Bible Verses on Nakedness

12 verses

In the biblical narrative, the state of being unclothed is often associated with vulnerability and shame. Initially, in the Garden of Eden, Adam and Eve were unashamed of their nakedness, as recorded in Genesis 2:25. However, after the fall, they became aware of their nakedness and sought to cover themselves, as seen in Genesis 3:7. The prophets, such as Habakkuk and Isaiah, later used nakedness as a metaphor for exposure and judgment, while Revelation 16:15 warns believers to be spiritually prepared, lest they be found naked and ashamed.
