13 Bible Verses on Stillness

13 verses

In the midst of life's turmoil, God invites His people to find peace and rest in stillness. The Psalmist encourages believers to "be still and know" God's presence and power, as expressed in Psalms 46:10. This theme is echoed in Exodus, where Moses tells the Israelites to "stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will bring" (Exodus 14:13-14), trusting that God will act on their behalf. As Isaiah 40:31 and Job 37:14 also attest, waiting quietly on God can renew strength and provide a deeper understanding of His ways.
