1 Give thanks [praise, acknowledge] to the LORD [Yehovah, the covenant God], for He is good [pleasant, benevolent]. His loving devotion [kindness, mercy] endures [remains, persists] forever [always, eternally]. word study 2 Give thanks [to express praise and gratitude] to the God [Elohim, the supreme deity] of gods [the one greater than all other gods]. His loving devotion [merciful kindness, faithful love] endures [remains steadfast, lasts] forever [for all eternity, always]. word study 3 Give thanks [with praise and worship] to the Lord [the supreme Master] of lords [rulers, masters]. His loving devotion [kindness, mercy, faithful love] endures [lasts, remains] forever [for all eternity, always]. word study 4 He alone [the only one, by Himself] does great [amazing, extraordinary] wonders [miracles, marvelous deeds].
