Deuteronomy 4:23 Summary
In Deuteronomy 4:23, God reminds the Israelites to be careful not to forget the covenant He made with them. This means remembering the promises and commands God gave them, and obeying Him faithfully. Just like the Israelites, we can easily forget God's covenant with us, and start to make our own idols, whether physical or spiritual (as seen in Colossians 3:5). By regularly reading and obeying God's Word, we can stay faithful to Him and avoid the dangers of idolatry (as warned in Romans 1:22-23).
