Ezekiel 11:17 Summary
This verse, Ezekiel 11:17, is a promise from God to His people that He will gather them from all the nations where they have been scattered and bring them back to their own land, the land of Israel. This is a fulfillment of God's covenant promises to Abraham, as seen in Genesis 12:7 and Genesis 17:8. God wants His people to be together in one place, where they can worship Him and live according to His ways, as seen in Psalm 122:1-4. This promise is still relevant today, as God continues to gather His people from all nations and bring them into His kingdom, as seen in Revelation 7:9-10.
Frequently Asked Questions
What does it mean for God to gather His people from the nations?

How does this verse relate to the concept of God's sanctuary?
In the previous verse, Ezekiel 11:16, God says He has been a sanctuary for His people in the countries to which they have gone, and now in Ezekiel 11:17, He promises to gather them back to their own land, where they can worship Him freely, as seen in Psalm 84:1-4.
What is the significance of God giving back the land of Israel to His people?
This is a fulfillment of God's covenant promises to Abraham, as seen in Genesis 12:7 and Genesis 17:8, where He promised to give the land to Abraham's descendants, and it shows God's faithfulness to His people, as stated in Deuteronomy 7:9-10.
