FOUR THE S U B S TA N C E OF GOD’S FAITH Why is the LORD JESUS CHRIST necessarily the Way, the Truth and the Life?
Simply because the substance of GOD’s faith (see note 4.1) and love is entirely and exclusively described and communicated to us in and through JESUS CHRIST (in HIS fullness), by the HOLY SPIRIT (see John 16:13-15). The substance of GOD’s faith - communicated in and through JESUS CHRIST, by the HOLY SPIRIT - forms in fully functional terms in us the totality that is prophetically described as the Way, the Truth and the Life!
Only the WORD made flesh could communicate - without any blemish - the reality of the substance of GOD’s hope in perfection, so as to enable the pure and perfect completion of GOD’s will in a new man (see Ephesians 2:10; 2 Corinthians 5:17). This communication into us is the fulfillment of the Law and Prophets.
It is the Testimony Of JESUS that is the framework for the communica- tion of the substance of GOD’s hope - which is GOD’s faith - that will actually form in us the Way, the Truth and the Life. The functional reality of the Way, the Truth and the Life is "the Witness" - true and faithful - which gives functional expression to us as a new creation in CHRIST JESUS (see Revelation 3:14 b; Ephesians 2:10). This new creation is of the substance of GOD’s faith brought into us through CHRIST JESUS, by the HOLY SPIRIT! The substance of GOD’s faith is of the fullness of CHRIST JESUS communicated into us by the HOLY SPIR- IT (see John 1:16-17, (NASB+KJV+NKJV); John 16:14; John 16:13-15).
GOD expressed HIS hope for a new creation in the SON by the HOLY SPIRIT. The substance of GOD’s hope unveils the evidence of HIS faith exercised. This evidence of GOD’s faith is communicated in the Testimony Of JESUS, WHO is prophetically designated as our inheri- tance and possession (see Ezekiel 44:28). The fullness of CHRIST JESUS is to fill all-in-all (see Ephesians 1:22-23; Colossians 1:19). For us, the substance of GOD’s hope unveils the evidence of us becoming a new creation in and through the fullness of CHRIST JESUS being perfect- ed and completed into us through the ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT (see Ephesians 2:10; John 1:16-17, NASB+NKJV+KJV; John 16:14; John 16:13-15).
GOD’s faith unveils the evidence of a new man in the image and fullness of CHRIST JESUS. The substance of GOD’s faith for a new man man- ifests in the fullness of CHRIST JESUS, by the HOLY SPIRIT! In Isaiah 48:16 the SON proclaims: < "Come near to ME, listen to this: From the first I have not spoken in secret, from the time it took place, I was there. And now the LORD GOD has sent ME, and HIS SPIRIT." > The FATHER sent the SON to give perfect definition and expression to HIS faith for a new man. The FATHER and the SON sent the HOLY SPIRIT to communicate the substance of GOD’s faith expressed in the fullness of CHRIST JESUS - into man. So that man could - by the HOLY SPIRIT, in CHRIST JESUS fullness actualized - become a new man in fully functional terms! AMEN! The substance of GOD’s faith is communicated in YESHUA MASHIAH (see note 4.2). The WORD made flesh WHO was tried and tested through HIS life, ministry and crucifixion and, vindicated in HIS resurrection (see Romans 1:3-4) so as to become the blueprint of a new creation for each one of us - in substance. By substance the blueprint is communicated. The substance communicat- ed becomes in us - in fully functional terms perfected and completed into us - the Way, the Truth and the Life. The Way, the Truth and the Life is of the fullness of CHRIST JESUS communicated into us by the HOLY SPIRIT.
’The Way, the Truth and the Life’ becomes a fully functional Witness in substance in us. The substance of CHRIST JESUS’ fullness defines the Witness and, partnership with the HOLY SPIRIT gives expression to the functions of the Witness in JESUS Name. The substance and the Witness actualized in our inward parts are a living expression of GOD’s faith communicated into us. This living expression of GOD’s faith functions in CHRIST JESUS by the HOLY SPIRIT. The faith of GOD results in a new totality called life eternal. The faith (and love) of GOD was tried and tested in substance for our salvation - in MASHIAH YESHUA (CHRIST JESUS). The faith and love of GOD tried and tested in CHRIST JESUS became the basis of the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets through the Witness of CHRIST JESUS in us (see Matthew 5:17-18; Matthew 5:20; 1 John 5:10 a; Revelation 3:14 b). The faith and love of JESUS CHRIST - tried and tested in substance (perfected) through the Cross - gave "perfected" definition and expression to the faith of GOD expressed towards man for a new creation in CHRIST JESUS (see Ephesians 2:10; Ephesians 2:8-10 and Hebrews 1:3; Hebrews 1:1-5). This new creation is of the substance of CHRIST JESUS fullness - per- fected by sacrifice for mankind. This is why YHWH-YIREH is GOD’s provision by sacrifice (see Genesis 22:14 and John 1:16-17, NASB/KJV/NKJV). At the heart of GOD’s provision is HIS faith and love for a new man - a new creation in the image and fullness of CHRIST JESUS.
GOD provides for us through HIS faith and love tested by sacrifice - in grace and mercy - in the exclusive price the SON paid for us.
GOD’s provision - through the sacrifice of CHRIST JESUS - is in essen- tial and fundamental terms "substance" ("hupostasis") that gives expres- sion to a functional witness in us (see 1 John 5:10 a).
GOD’s provision unveils in the substance of HIS faith and HIS love per- fected and completed for man in CHRIST JESUS in a prophetic expres- sion termed ’the fullness of CHRIST JESUS’ (see John 1:16; Ephesians 1:22-23; Colossians 1:19). From mankind’s perspective this substance is exclusively and necessari- ly of JESUS CHRIST (see Hebrews 1:1-5 and John 1:16-17, NASB/KJV/NKJV). This substance - of the fullness of CHRIST JESUS - is the only (tried and tested) basis of a new creation (see John 1:16-17, NASB/KJV/NKJV). This tried and tested basis was vindicated in MASHIAH YESHUA’s res- urrection. An event that manifested the evidence of CHRIST JESUS, being - exclusively - the Way, the Truth and the Life! This substance - of the fullness of CHRIST JESUS, which is the "per- fected" expression of GOD’s faith - is designed to give functional defini- tion to the Witness (see 1 John 5:10 a, 7-8, NKJV and Revelation 3:14 b) made alive in us by the HOLY SPIRIT (see John 6:63 a and John 16:14; John 16:13-15). This substance makes us actual partakers of CHRIST (see note 4.3) through CHRIST being formed in us (see Galatians 4:19; see also John 1:16, NASB/KJV/NKJV) even as we learn to do all things through CHRIST WHO strengthens us (see Php 4:13, NKJV). The resulting functional Witness within us is characterized by an actual confidence. This confidence - of having no doubt - is the exclusive work of GOD in our inward parts (see Exodus 31:18; Exodus 32:15-16; 2 Corinthians 3:3, NKJV; Ezekiel 36:26; Ezekiel 36:25-27)! This confidence arises through the witness, to the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets, being made alive in us in the substance that is entirely of CHRIST JESUS (see Romans 3:21-22, KJV). The substance is entirely of the faith and love of CHRIST JESUS expressed freely for us before the FATHER. HIS faith justifies us and HIS love brings fulfillment. And, the result is an actual, functional confidence in our inward parts. AMEN! The substance that is of CHRIST JESUS is the exclusive product of GOD’s faith that will enable the sons of GOD to function in actual posi- tions in the Mount Of The LORD (see Matthew 5:8; Psalms 24:3-4; Psalms 15:1-2; Genesis 22:14, NKJV + NASB + KJV)!
We do this from the witness of confidence actualized in our hearts from the substance of the Master’s fullness. This confidence is tied to purity of heart (see Psalms 24:3-4; Psalms 15:1-2; Matthew 5:8; 1 John 3:3)! And, this purity is entirely a result of HIS sub- stance formed in our hearts. HE has to be LORD and BELOVED to us for this purity to be true!
Because the substance of our hearts is designed in salvation to be of CHRIST JESUS, we have the potentials of growing hearts of purity. Our growing hearts of purity are entirely of HIS substance that results in hearts of flesh that are of HIS flesh (see Ezekiel 36:26; John 6:51; 2 Corinthians 3:3, NKJV+NASB). In order to attain this reality, we simply need to steadfastly keep our hope on the LORD JESUS CHRIST and, all that is promised to us in HIM, by HIS merits (see 1 John 3:3).
Hope in HIM will manifest the substance of HIS fullness. In this reality of grace manifested through substance, all things promised by GOD become possible to us. AMEN! The possibilities are of the stature of GOD’s faith (and love)! That’s why it is called amazing grace (see Ephesians 1:6; Revelation 21:11; Revelation 21:9-11)! In and according to the status of the substance formed in us, we can move mountains in line with the Witness of JESUS CHRIST opened to us in Mark 11:23 < Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, "Be taken up and cast into the sea," and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it shall be granted him. > The intent of the faith of GOD, brought into us by the HOLY SPIRIT in the true and faithful Witness - the Amen of true and perfect confidence in GOD, manifested through the SON, by the HOLY SPIRIT - is pro- claimed by CHRIST JESUS in the following passages of Scripture:
● Matthew 17:20 c declares: < ... And nothing will be impossible to you. >
● John 14:12 declares: < Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes in ME, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works that these shall he do ... >
● John 14:13-14 declares: < And whatever you ask in MY Name that will I do, that the FATHER may be glorified in the SON. If you ask ME anything in MY Name, I will do it. >
● John 14:26 declares: < ... The Helper, the HOLY SPIRIT, WHOM the FATHER will send in MY Name, HE will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you. >
● John 16:13-15 declares: < ... When HE, the SPIRIT Of Truth comes, HE will guide you into all the truth ... HE shall glorify ME; for HE shall take of Mine, and shall disclose it to you. All things that the FATHER has are Mine; therefore I said, that HE takes of Mine, and will disclose it to you. >
All of these passages of Scripture flow out of GOD’s faith and love for us. The faith and love of GOD results in a totality defined in CHRIST JESUS The Substance of GOD’s Faith - by substance and Witness - which is made fully functional in our inward parts by the HOLY SPIRIT. AMEN! This totality is necessarily one that develops out of a Blood Covenant rela- tionship. A Blood Covenant relationship fashioned in substance and Witness in our inward parts! The faith of GOD can only be actualized in a relationship that GOD has designed for us in JESUS CHRIST, and this relationship - that is designed in GOD’s faith and love for us - is to be developed in us and amongst us by the HOLY SPIRIT in a living and growing Witness.
Out of this reality of the intimacy of relationship, having the faith of GOD - by substance and Witness - becomes the inherent reality for the fulfillment of GOD’s plan in each one of our lives, as sons of GOD!
It is in HIS plan of faith and love - communicated in substance and Witness - that we become sons of GOD! AMEN!
Scripture References & Notes - Chapter 4
(4.1) Hebrews 11:1 defines faith and, Romans 8:20-21 talks about the FATHER subjecting the creation in hope. The faith of GOD unto us is the substance of HIS hope. The substance of the FATHER’s hope is described in CHRIST JESUS, the WORD became flesh as noted in John 1:14 by the HOLY SPIRIT (Luke 1:35).
(4.2) Hebrews 1:3 a, NKJV (PERSON - HUPOSTASIS) + NASB (Nature - Hupostasis) + NIV (BEING - HUPOSTASIS) reveals an awe- some expression of the Greek word "hupostasis" which is translated "sub- stance" in Hebrews 11:1, KJV+NKJV. So what we are saying is this: the substance of GOD’s faith is communicated through the PERSON,
Nature and BEING of YESHUA MASHIAH. And the expression of this faith of GOD in MASHIAH YESHUA is a totality that is called YAH- WEH-TSIDKENU in Jeremiah 23:5-6. The conduit of this faith of GOD is exclusively the Testimony Of JESUS! This communication unveils the Witness that stands as "I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life!" AMEN (see Revelation 3:14 b)!
(4.3) Hebrews 3:14 (NKJV), where the word "confidence" is a translation of the Greek word "hupostasis", which is translated as "substance" in Hebrews 11:1 (KJV/NKJV).
