Conclusion: Those who think to support themselves in their own power and wealth without God and His Word, are wretchedly deceived, for their houses are built on sand. The ruin of mighty, yet godless men cannot but be universally noticed when that day comes.

Striking Facts: Psalms 52:8. Those whose confidence is in God are compared to green olive trees, which are fat as well as flourishing (Psalms 92:14). The wicked are compared (Psalms 37:35) to a green bay tree, which has an abundance of large leaves but no useful fruit.
