Daily Cheer for All the Year

Fret not thyself, else shalt thou be moved to do evil.—Ps. xxxvii, 8.

You may say what you please,

You may fret, you may tease,

After all, it won't help you, my friend.

Let your mind be at rest;

If you'll do but your best,

" It will all come out right in the end."

Though you oft look ahead

To the future with dread,

And obstacles grave apprehend,

Brave them all like a man,

Work as hard as you can

For " 'twill all come out right in the end."

There's a good God above,

In whose mercy and love

The upright may e'er find a friend.

He has promised, if you

Are but faithful and true,

That " 'twill all come out right in the end."

G. L. CATLIN.

Nothing is intolerable that is necessary. Now God hath bound thy trouble upon thee, with a design to try thee, and with purposes to reward and crown thee. These cords thou canst not break; and therefore lie thou down gently, and suffer the hand of God to do what He pleases.
