BSA1 So all [every single one, the entire nation] Israel [the descendants of Jacob, God’s chosen people] was recorded [enrolled, officially listed] in the genealogies [family histories, records of ancestry] written [inscribed, documented] in the Book [scroll, written document] of the Kings [rulers, monarchs] of Israel [the symbolic name of Jacob].
