Exodus 16:28 Summary
In Exodus 16:28, the LORD is asking the people how long they will refuse to follow His commands and instructions. He is specifically talking about their disobedience regarding the Sabbath day, when they gathered food even though He told them not to (Exodus 16:27). This verse reminds us that God wants us to obey Him and follow His commands, just like He told the people to rest on the Sabbath (Exodus 20:8-11). By obeying God's commands, we show that we love and respect Him, and we can learn to trust Him more and more (John 14:15, Deuteronomy 11:1).
