Jeremiah 49:20 Summary
[This verse, Jeremiah 49:20, is saying that God has a plan to judge the nation of Edom, and it will be a severe judgment, like what is described in Genesis 19:1-29. The people of Edom will be punished for their sins, and their land will be left empty and desolate, much like the desolation described in Jeremiah 25:11. This shows us that God is a just and powerful God who will not tolerate sin, as also seen in Romans 6:23. We can trust that God is in control and will bring justice to those who have opposed Him, as promised in Psalm 37:1-40.]
