Context — Jeremiah Prays for Understanding
22You gave them this land that You had sworn to give their fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.
23They came in and possessed it, but they did not obey Your voice or walk in Your law. They failed to perform all that You commanded them to do, and so You have brought upon them all this disaster. 24See how the siege ramps are mounted against the city to capture it. And by sword and famine and plague, the city has been given into the hands of the Chaldeans who are fighting against it. What You have spoken has happened, as You now see!Cross References

Jeremiah 32:22 Summary
Jeremiah 32:22 reminds us that God is a faithful and promise-keeping God, who gave the Israelites a land of abundance and prosperity because He had sworn to give it to their fathers (as seen in Genesis 12:7). This verse shows us that God is a God who keeps His promises, just like He did for the Israelites, and that we can trust Him to do the same for us (as seen in Deuteronomy 7:9). Just as the Israelites were given a land flowing with milk and honey, we can trust that God will provide for us and give us what we need to live a life of abundance and joy (as seen in Philippians 4:19). By remembering God's promises and faithfulness, we can trust Him more and live a life of faith and obedience.
