Nehemiah 13:22 Summary
Nehemiah 13:22 teaches us that keeping the Sabbath day holy is important to God, and that we should set it apart as a day of rest and worship. To do this, we need to avoid worldly activities that would profane the day, and instead prioritize prayer, Bible reading, and fellowship with other believers (as seen in Acts 2:42-47 and Hebrews 10:24-25). By doing so, we can show our love and respect for God, and trust in His abundant loving devotion to guide and empower us. Just like Nehemiah, we can ask God to remember us and show us mercy as we strive to be faithful to His commands.
