The equality and identity of Jesus Christ as God is clearly stated in the NT, and is also implied by the words and deeds of Jesus Christ. But about the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom.
Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father's side, has made Him known.
Theirs are the patriarchs, and from them proceeds the human descent of Christ, who is God over all, forever worthy of praise! Amen.
Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
as we await the blessed hope and glorious appearance of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ.
Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:
"Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel" (which means, "God with us" ).
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call Him Immanuel.
The angel replied, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.
that they may be encouraged in heart, knit together in love, and filled with the full riches of complete understanding, so that they may know the mystery of God, namely Christ,
Now to the King eternal, immortal, and invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true—in His Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever—
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
And in Him, having heard and believed the word of truth—the gospel of your salvation—you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the pledge of our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession, to the praise of His glory.
And in Him you too are being built together into a dwelling place for God in His Spirit.
... for this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I ask that out of the riches of His glory He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Then you, being rooted and grounded in love,
There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come forth for Me One to be ruler over Israel — One whose origins are of old, from the days of eternity.
And now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence with the glory I had with You before the world existed.
Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, that they may see the glory You gave Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works, but by His own purpose and by the grace He granted us in Christ Jesus before time began.
He was known before the foundation of the world, but was revealed in the last times for your sake.
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our own eyes, which we have gazed upon and touched with our own hands—this is the Word of life.
I am writing to you, fathers, because you know Him who is from the beginning. I am writing to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one. I have written to you, children, because you know the Father.
You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed; but You remain the same, and Your years will never end."
Without father or mother or genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God, he remains a priest for all time.
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, " says the Lord God, who is and was and is to come—the Almighty.
And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: "To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever!"
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."
No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven—the Son of Man.
The One who comes from above is above all. The one who is from the earth belongs to the earth and speaks as one from the earth. The One who comes from heaven is above all.
At this, the Jews began to grumble about Jesus because He had said, "I am the bread that came down from heaven." They were asking, "Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then can He say, 'I have come down from heaven?'"
Jesus knew that the Father had delivered all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was returning to God.
I came from the Father and entered the world. In turn, I will leave the world and go to the Father."
The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
After six days Jesus took with Him Peter, James, and John, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There He was transfigured before them. His clothes became radiantly white, brighter than any launderer on earth could bleach them.
And as He was praying, the appearance of His face changed, and His clothes became radiantly white.
The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
None of the rulers of this age understood it. For if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
My brothers, as you hold out your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, do not show favoritism.
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
A voice of one calling: "Prepare the way for the LORD in the wilderness; make a straight highway for our God in the desert.
In His days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. And this is His name by which He will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness.
"Behold, I will send My messenger, who will prepare the way before Me. Then the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple—the Messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight—see, He is coming," says the LORD of Hosts.
And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has promised, among the remnant called by the LORD.
"He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they cannot see with their eyes, and understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them." Isaiah said these things because he saw Jesus' glory and spoke about Him.
Make the hearts of this people calloused; deafen their ears and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and be healed. "
as it is written: "See, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense; and the one who believes in Him will never be put to shame."
This is why it says: "When He ascended on high, He led captives away, and gave gifts to men."
You have ascended on high; You have led captives away. You have received gifts from men, even from the rebellious, that the LORD God may dwell there.
But Jesus answered them, "To this very day My Father is at His work, and I too am working." Because of this, the Jews tried all the harder to kill Him. Not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
I and the Father are one." At this, the Jews again picked up stones to stone Him. But Jesus responded, "I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone Me?" "We are not stoning You for any good work," said the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because You, who are a man, declare Yourself to be God."
then what about the One whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world? How then can you accuse Me of blasphemy for stating that I am the Son of God? If I am not doing the works of My Father, then do not believe Me. But if I am doing them, even though you do not believe Me, believe the works themselves, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I am in the Father."
If you had known Me, you would know My Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him."
Jesus replied, "Philip, I have been with you all this time, and still you do not know Me? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say to you, I do not speak on My own. Instead, it is the Father dwelling in Me, performing His works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me—or at least believe on account of the works themselves.
I will no longer be in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, protect them by Your name, the name You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one.
that all of them may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.
When Jesus saw their faith, He said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven." But the scribes and Pharisees began thinking to themselves, "Who is this man who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?" Knowing what they were thinking, Jesus replied, "Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk?' But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on the earth to forgive sins..." He said to the paralytic, "I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home."
Just then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Take courage, son; your sins are forgiven." On seeing this, some of the scribes said to themselves, "This man is blaspheming!" But Jesus knew what they were thinking and said, "Why do you harbor evil in your hearts? Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk?' But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins..." Then He said to the paralytic, "Get up, pick up your mat, and go home."
When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven." But some of the scribes were sitting there and thinking in their hearts, "Why does this man speak like this? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?" At once Jesus knew in His spirit that they were thinking this way within themselves. "Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?" He asked. "Which is easier: to say to a paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up, pick up your mat, and walk'? But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins..." He said to the paralytic,
Therefore I tell you, because her many sins have been forgiven, she has loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little." Then Jesus said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
"You of little faith," Jesus replied, "why are you so afraid?" Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm. The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!"
Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the sea. "Silence!" He commanded. "Be still!" And the wind died down, and it was perfectly calm. "Why are you so afraid?" He asked. "Do you still have no faith?" Overwhelmed with fear, they asked one another, "Who is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?"
The disciples went and woke Him, saying, "Master, Master, we are perishing!" Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters, and they subsided, and all was calm. "Where is your faith?" He asked. Frightened and amazed, they asked one another, "Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him!"
"Return home and describe how much God has done for you." So the man went away and proclaimed all over the town how much Jesus had done for him.
But Jesus would not allow him. "Go home to your own people," He said, "and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and what mercy He has shown you." So the man went away and began to proclaim throughout the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And everyone was amazed.
Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!"
and who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.
Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on His left.
If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in His Father's glory with the holy angels."
For the Son of Man will come in His Father's glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done.
If anyone is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead."
on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Christ Jesus, as proclaimed by my gospel.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad.
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies.

Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life."

Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, His body, of which He is the Savior.
Therefore He is able to save completely those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.
that if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Therefore I inform you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.
For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.
And He has a name written on His robe and on His thigh: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him.
He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.
You killed the Author of life, but God raised Him from the dead, and we are witnesses of the fact.
For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we exist. And there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we exist.
But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe.
And: "In the beginning, O Lord, You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.
In the beginning You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.
Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,
I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. The hired hand is not the shepherd, and the sheep are not his own. When he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf pounces on them and scatters the flock. The man runs away because he is a hired servant and is unconcerned for the sheep. I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them in as well, and they will listen to My voice. Then there will be one flock and one shepherd.
For "you were like sheep going astray," but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.

Suddenly Jesus met them and said, "Greetings!" They came to Him, grasped His feet, and worshiped Him.
And the Lord will rescue me from every evil action and bring me safely into His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has released us from our sins by His blood, who has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and power forever and ever! Amen.
In a loud voice they were saying: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!" And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"
